Flowers captured in all their vibrant colors and the changing seasons; animals sculpted in moments of quiet dignity and innocent playfulness—throughout history, people have been captivated by the brilliance of living things, finding in them an enduring source of artistic inspiration. Seen through the eyes of artists, these paintings, sculptures, and other works invite us to reflect on the preciousness and enduring continuity of life.
This exhibition features paintings, sculptures, photographs, and other works inspired by plants and animals, presented not only in the museum galleries but also throughout the outdoor spaces of Sapporo Art Park. As you explore the park’s rich natural surroundings, we invite you to discover the world of flowers and animals expressed through color and form, and to experience each artist’s unique dialogue with life itself.
